Changing how you pay Voluntary Continuation Health Insurance System insurance premiums

Each year, you will be sent a notice of insurance premiums for the new fiscal year. By default, the payment method you choose when you join the system will apply for as long as you remain eligible for coverage for the Voluntary Continuation Health Insurance System (i.e., until loss of coverage).
If you wish to change how you make your premium payments during this period, submit an application form within the timeframes indicated.

• Note: The Sony Health Insurance Society sends insurance premium invoices for the second half on September 1 only to those who chose monthly payment or semiannual prepayment as their preferred payment method for the first half of the year but applied to change their payment methods starting in the second half.

Months in which you can change payment methods

• Monthly payment, semiannual prepayment: February or August (change applies starting with premiums for April or October)
• Annual prepayment: February (change applies starting with premiums for April)
